Ubaldo Di Leva Terms and Conditions for the production of Reviews

Ubaldo Di Leva regularly produces video reviews of consumer electronics and IT products (PCs, smartphones, smart home devices, surveillance and security systems, drones, audio and video gear, smart robot vacuum cleaners and floor cleaners, and other tech products).

Each video review is not merely a summary of the technical specifications, but the result of real-world testing and hands-on experience.

Products Sent for Free Review

We are happy to test your products, but please read the following conditions that apply to reviews produced by Ubaldo Di Leva:

• The opinions shared in our videos reflect genuine hands-on testing and personal experience.
  We do not accept payments in exchange for positive or biased reviews.
  This is a fundamental principle, as we strongly believe in freedom of expression.
• We do not guarantee that a review will be made. However, you may choose to purchase a paid sponsorship, which is handled independently from any review.
• Unless otherwise agreed, we cannot guarantee that a video review will be published by a specific date.
  The indicative timeframe of 15 days from the product’s arrival may vary depending on unforeseen events or workload.
• If you want the product to be returned after the review, this must be explicitly stated beforehand.
  If not indicated, the product will be considered a gift.
• Please send a standard retail version of the product, not a prototype or demo version. If it is not a standard version, please let us know in advance.
  This helps ensure that the review reflects the exact product that end-users will receive.
• We do not provide scripts or preview versions of the review videos, unless specifically requested. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• We respect any review guidelines you may share, but we do not guarantee strict adherence to them.
• Products sent without prior agreement will not be considered for review and will not be returned.
• For shipments from non-EU countries, please ensure all customs paperwork is completed properly.
  Incorrect declarations may result in the Italian customs authorities destroying the shipment.
  Since this is a free service, we ask that customs fees be paid in advance, or that reimbursement is agreed upon beforehand.

Paid Sponsorships

• Sponsored content will not be described or presented as a “review.”
• To maximize visibility and performance, Ubaldo Di Leva reserves the right to choose the most effective video title.
  As a result, the product name or model may not appear in the title.
• One round of content revision is guaranteed. A second revision is possible only if agreed upon in advance.
  Under no circumstances will the content be revised more than twice.
• Short-format videos (e.g., TikTok, IG Stories, Reels) are not our preferred format, but can be produced upon request.
  These short videos will not be subject to revision or pre-approval.
• All sponsored content will clearly include the #adv tag to comply with Italian regulations.
• Upon request, for sponsored collaborations only, it is possible to use the content produced for commercial brand purposes, but without alterations, editing, or the use of AI.
